Baraka TEAM is the technology and new media division of the baraka group.

The TEAM

We are led by Mahmoud Abu-Wardeh, a technology and media veteran who has spent way too much time staring (mostly productively) at various types of screens and monitors, from the early orange-on-black text-based terminals all the way up to multimedia production suites.

Spreading the word and looking after business development is Rama Chakaki, who has a gift for networking both on- and off-line.  Rama  has a knack for spotting opportunities in the most interesting places and the ability to transform the opportunity into a win-win relationship for everyone involved.

Spearheading the development effort for all the projects that we are rolling out is Mutaz Qasem, an extremely talented developer who is a programming languages polyglot.  We have yet to see Mutaz phazed by a problem in development - the tougher the challenge, the more zeal he applies to finding a solution, and he invariably does.
